Scope of work by CH2M HILL

In general, the project consists of and will be accomplished in the following three phases:

Phase 1 – Sewerage and Drainage Master Plans
Master plans for sewerage and drainage systems improvements will be prepared considering the base year as 2010 and the ultimate design year as 2040 for each town. Each master plan will include identification and evaluation of alternative sewerage infrastructure improvement schemes. Each evaluation of alternatives will address a full range of technical, environmental, social, and financial issues.

Phase 2 – Feasibility Studies
Feasibility studies will be conducted for the priority projects identified in the master plans. The primary purpose of the feasibility studies is to ascertain technical and implementation viability of each priority project. Based on assessment of all the evaluation factors, each alternative will be ranked and recommendations will be made, in consultation with stakeholder agencies, for the apparent preferred options. Cost and tariff structures also will be reviewed and potential modifications to these structures will be suggested. Preliminary designs will be prepared and included in the feasibility study reports for the recommended alternatives.

Phase 3 – Detailed Project Reports (DPRs)
DPRs will be prepared for the highest priority projects selected by stakeholder agencies in the feasibility studies. The DPRs will include detailed engineering analysis, intermediate design drawings modular specification of works, bills of quantities and block cost estimates. Additionally, the DPRs will include detailed implementation plans, and management and monitoring procedures to be used during implementation.
