National River Conservation Directorate (NRCD)

The NRCD of Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF), Govt. of India has received an ODA Loan from Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) in the amount of 13.33 billion Yen towards the cost of Yamuna Action Plan Phase- II project signed on 31st March 2003.

Organization Chart

NRCD, the Executing Agency for the project intends to allocate the portions of the proceeds of this loan to Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Delhi Jal Board (DJB), Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (UPJN) and Public Health Branch (PH) in Haryana, for the implementation of YAP-II project.

In addition to above, portion of the proceeds of this loan is also allocated to NRCD itself for the implementation of following components under the YAP-II project:

1. Capacity Building
2. Water Quality
3. Overseas Training
